パンチングメタルの内型とアルミの外型の間に発泡ビーズを充填させ、内型から蒸気を当てる。発泡ビーズが膨らむと同時に、表面が熔解し互いに引っ付く事で形が成形される。発泡スチロールの工業的成形方法を自分なりに解釈し、個人レベルでの成形方法を構築した。  

I researched the industrial method of molding expanded polystyrene and make the plan how to make it by my self.

I filled the gap between the inner mold made of a punched metal and the outer mold made of aluminum with expandable polystyrene beads, and then steamed from inside. As soon as they swelled up, their surface melted and the beads stuck on each other by heat.
