発泡スチロールを透過する光は独特の表情を見せる。構成する粒一つひとつの輪郭を強調し、それが塊であることを思い出させる。魚卵のようでいて、精巧なガラス細工のようでもあるその灯りを、照明として暮らしに取り入れてみようと思った。

The light coming through an expandable polystyrene shows an especial character, which looks like roe or delicate glassworks. It accentuates the outline of each grains of an expandable polystyrene and  reminds us that it is a mass. I tried to adopt this light as a lamp.
